Why would you expect libraries to sell them? Because they're glasses???!

I ordered mine off Ebay. Easy.

Morehead Planetarium sells them.

Driving back and forth between Raleigh and Wrightsville all summer and the only place I considered stopping off (and would have yesterday if it wasn't pouring rain) was at that PENDER county library since both New Hanover and Wake are not doing the free glasses thing, apparently, and there aren't any others nearby.

So anyone have an extra or a few extra that you would give/sell to me? I cannot believe that there aren't truckloads of these things at every store within 100 miles. Let me ask what I just posted on the Raleigh forum - any places around here have them?

Please make absolutely certain they meet the specs for safety. That seems too cheap to me. Check out this article.

They shouldn't cost more than $2. Anything more than that and I'd be suspicious.

Default still looking

I went to THREE Walmarts - asked someone at each of them if they had eclipse glasses (because I have been told my multiple people they do) - and each person had absolutely no idea what I was talking about. "You mean clip-on glasses?" *ugh*

Just made another trip last night and literally looked everywhere - garden center, sunglass section, eye glass / pharmacy section, etc.....

The customer service - as far as knowing, assisting, finding, helping, etc....the eclipse glasses - at Lowe's wasn't much better. I started searching for these things well over a month ago.
