I'm considering moving to Oak Island and have seen a few condo for sale close to the beach. I would like to know how often flooding occurs on the island and damage to property on the West end of the Island. Thanks

If you do Facebook, I highly recommend that you join a couple groups that are OKI-focused:

https://www.facebook.com/groups/Localoakisland/

https://www.facebook.com/groups/OakIsland/

Each has over 4000 members.
