Was wondering if any of you knew where the final scene in Brad Paisley's Waitin' on a Woman music video was filmed, the one where Andy Griffith is seated on a bench on the beach, presumably on the Outer Banks. I've been able to glean that the majority of the scenes were filmed at an outlet mall in Nags Head, but was really curious about the beach. It's just stunning.

I thank you in advance.

"“Waitin’ on a Woman” features Brad Paisley sitting on a bench at the Tanger Outlet Center in Nags Head, NC having a candid, yet deeply moving conversation with Andy Griffith. The climactic scene features Griffith in the Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge in the Cape Hatteras National Seashore Recreational Area, just north of Rodanthe."

Thank you BC1960. I googled the question and went thru the first few pages of results and came up empty, so thank you again. Hoping to get back to OBX next year, would love to check out the Pea Island refuge, if it is open to the public.

The scene at the end of the video is so powerful, and ironic that it was among Andy's last. Didn't know Andy personally (never met for that matter) but he certainly gave me every impression that he was a great man of impeccable character. He's missed.

Unfortunately everybody that I know that knew him said he wasn't particularly friendly. He valued his privacy and didn't like people to approach him when he was out in public.
