I am currently in CT and am relocating to NC would like to find a job before I move. I will be getting my Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and have interned with the State of Connecticut Judicial Branch in Adult Probation. Currently taking written exams for the Police Departments and work Security. Any suggestions? Anyone?

Yes, go online to the Dept of Navy Human Resources and look for jobs in Civilian Law enforcement at Camp Lejeune Marine Base and ta Cherry Point MCAS, they are hiring upwards of 500 new law enforcement personnel....all grades....

well, my first suggestion would be to not relocate. but if you must, check out the website for the city of wilmington. they seem to always be hiring police, however, you need to know that NC is infamous for underpaying police and fire department personal.

I just saw a commercial that the Dept of Prisons is hiring. Not sure if that's something you would want to do. My brother in law works for the prisons up in MA and they have unions up there. He will be retired with full retirement benefits at age 51. I don't think they have them here.
