Just wondering about mainland communities/neighborhoods on the mainland of Ocean Isle/Holden Beach? Looking for established neighborhood/community. We are looking for full time resident so doing research and want to hear as much as possible. thanks

You might look at some condos in one of the "Plantations" at your price point. Go to the below link and you can expand the map to get a better idea of their location.

Current Real Estate Listings | Carolina Plantations Real Estate

I would suggest you rent a place for one year and get a feel for the area. Drive around and see what you are interested in and then you can get some details on this board. JMHO. We spent over two years reviewing the area, but we found out a lot more after we moved into Brunswick County. Luckily, we made the right choice.

We have talked about renting. Being 100 miles from the beach all of my life I'm familiar with areas not neighborhoods other than on the beach. We are there off and on during the year. I've looked at some townhomes in the plantations but I think my husband is interested in sfh. We have time so using it. Love hearing from others that really enlightens. Thanks
