I recall some supermarkets were previously in Lenoir County with stores in Kinston: Lowe's Foods and Winn-Dixie. I may have read somewhere Harris Teeter also had a store in Kinston. I do not know if it was at Kinston Square on North Queen Street.

I don't recall a Teeter ever being in Kinston. Lowe's Foods was at the corner of Airport Road and N. Herritage Street. It only lasted a few years, 4 or 5 at the most.

Me either. If they were, it's news to me.

Default Food Lion #2580, 301 East Washington Street, La Grange, North Carolina 28551-1834

I forgot Lenoir County's best Food Lion: Food Lion #2580. It is one of the few stores banner-wide that has a pharmacy.
