Can anyone tell me what it is like living in Kure Beach or Carolina Beach in the winter?
Is it a ghost town? I'm thinking of moving there from NJ. Thanks for any info.

Carolina Beach is said to be becoming a year-round community. I'm not sure about Kure, except that people fish there in the winter.

CB benefits from being a touch closer to Wilmington proper I think. Its more affordable than Wrightsville and an easy drive into the city.
