We have several friends in Ocean Ridge Plantation (we are moving to NC sometime this summer) and we have heard some wonderful things about the Planetarium!

Fantastic Wales, thank you so much. We still have not been to Calabash, but it is on our list of places to hit in April when we close on the home. Any preferences on seafood places to eat at in Calabash?

I like Waterfront Seafood Shack and Calabash Seafood Hut. Waterfront is outdoor seating only, so its weather dependent.

The Purple Onion in Shallotte is also great. (not seafood)

As of now we plan on going down this weekend to explore and possibly make an offer. Not really searching for the bad, but it almost seems to good to be true Hope it is.
Thanks so much

If you are inclined to eat at home, go to the dock in Calabash around 3:30-4:00 PM and meet the shrimp boat. They sell shrimp right off the boat and will de-head if you prefer for a dollar a pound.
Get there on time though, the catch sells fast!
