98.3 doesn't make it very far out of Wilmington. We have a 98.3 in the Greenville/Washington area that plays Christian contemporary music so there's not much of a chance you'll hear the Wilmington one.

I mostly listen online, so I'm not sure what 105.5's reception is like outside of Wilmington. Rock103 (103.5) out of Fayetteville is similar to 105.5 in format, but does mix in some classic rock in addition to the newer stuff. I do agree that 98.7 needs to put more of an emphasis on the "rock" part of its name, but it's a good station otherwise, and I have discovered some great songs on there that I haven't heard anywhere else. 98.3 seems to be softer than 98.7 so I'm not sure if you'll like it as much, but it's worth a listen.

You can listen on their website, and I'm sure on various apps. No one is limited to the radio dial anymore.

I cannot pick up 98.3 so that's out and beside they play Christian Contemporary. I scanned the radio last night so it looks like all I have is 98.7, 105.5 when I can get it in, an occasionally I will listen to 106.5 as they seem to be playing more bands I like from the 90's modern rock scene.

I miss when Bob 93.3 was a variety hits station in the late 90s. It was great.

Why can't Greenville sustain a variety hits station. They tried it with SAM 101 and another station
