Gives us time to settle and then buy a house that spring..seems as if leland and hampstead are where we would buy a house when time comes
So, you have already decided on Hampstead or Leland and are looking for specific recommendations in those 2 areas?

Looking at other suggestions other then leland and hampstead. Just getting a feel what others think. Big move and want to make sure we pick the right place. Wouldnt mind living in wilmigton (certain areas) but seems as if prices of homes are a tad by more vs leland and hampstead

Ok, your post just seemed odd as it didn't acknowledge the suggestions for other areas that were made, and seemed to be reiterating that you were looking in Hampstead and Leland.

US Cellular? The College and Oleander location?

If so, if you lived in Hampstead, it would take you 35-40 minutes one way to work. Leland would be about 20 depending on whether the bridge is up within an hour, which could mean 45.

You could find something in Pine Valley vicinity for 230K and be 5 minutes from work and close to everything (including pre-schools/good schools).

It would be 35-40 minutes to work from Hampstead if there's no wrecks on 17 that day. But wrecks are becoming more frequent, due to poor planning and nonstop development. And there's no really viable alternate route, until the Hampstead bypass gets built. But that's not even supposed to start construction until late 2020.

I think the Ogden area/Hampstead area would be perfect for everything you want. Boiling Springs is too far from everything.
