Bluefin Tuna & Striped Bass Catches (Morehead City, Emerald Isle: commercial, year, state)

Just thought I'd pass along that the bluefin tuna and striped bass catches have been very good so far this year off the North Carolina coast. In fact-The "story of stories" is of a 79 inch bluefin tuna being caught in a creek behind Emerald Isle, NC a few weeks back. [moderator cut: no commercial links]

No sooner did I post the above-And six hours later a possible new state record bluefin was brought to the Morehead City docks today weighing 875 Pounds and measuring 110 Inches!!
