17N to Washington, then take 264 East. You're looking at about a 5 hour drive one way from MB. You'd be better off scouting some crabbing locations closer to Myrtle -- maybe Little River, SC.

Does anyone know of a place around Jacksonville, NC? We will be there in May and would like to do this with our daughter and her husband.

Do I need license to catch crab in NC beach? Which beach has more crabs to catch?
My family is planning a trip to the beach to catch crabs, but I do not know where to go.

Lake Mattamuskeet offers the biggest crabs in north carolina . They are running now call the carawans they will give you a update. North Carolina duck hunting, trout, flounder, bass, catfish fishing. Hunt black bear. View wildlife on Lake Mattamuskeet. Carawan's Motel in Hyde County.
