I know one of the founders of this innovative museum in Jacksonville. Many of the exhibits allow children to explore occupations. There is a veteranarian's office where kids can weigh stuffed animals, and a checkout counter at a store. There are also play areas like a climbing wall and tunnels where kids exercise different muscles. It is worth checking out if you have kids or grandkids in the area. It is at 625 New Bridge Street, Jacksonville, NC, and the admission is $8. The opening times are on the web-site: https://zingzumm.org/ One can also schedule birthday parties at the museum during regular business hours.
