Default Wilmington relo help/zip codes to search

My husband and I are in our mid 20s and are looking to relocate to the Wilmington area. Currently we're in San Diego and rent two blocks from the beach. We want to move out of SoCal because its impossible to affort anything out here. My husband surfs so, being close to the beach is somewhat important. Can anyone suggest some zip codes of good areas to research? I just feel like I have no clue of what I'm looking at when I search on realtor.com. We have a modest budget of $150,000 for our started home. Can we actually buy a house in a good neighborhood for that amount or less?

try these. 28409, 28411, 28412, 28451. you might have to move about 20 minutes from wilmington to get an actual house for that price. leland has homes in that price range. if you want to be in wilmington, you might have to do a condo for that price.

the reason I didn't mention hampstead is that I doubt they could get too much outside of a double wide for that price. the nice neighborhoods out there are pricey!

That is true, but maybe they could get lucky on someone needing to sell quickly.

We are getting ready to sell ours thru a relo company and I am not happy with what they want to list it as!
