Can anyone tell me anything about the restaurants in Kure Beach? They're supposed to be at 50% capacity. Some are already small so wait times must be higher than normal. Google search says Freddies and the Diner are only doing takeout and Diner is doing delivery. Jack Mackerels looks open. We rent a place near the beach so takeout isn't that bad. I wonder how long the wait is for that?

Can't tell you about KB specifically, but I wouldn't expect the wait for takeout to be any longer than normal. Thats the case here in Southport. Some of the smaller places aren't doing dine-in. KB only has a handful of restaurants. Lots more in Carolina Beach, of course.

All restaurants in NC are limited to 50% of capacity right now for dine-in.

zitsky I have no knowledge of takeout times but I suspect that the restaurants have it down to a science by now, especially if restaurants can only seat 50% capacity. Also a lot of restaurants have chosen to remain takeout only as they are so small that the physical distancing requirements make it not worth their while.
