We are trying to decide between Compass Pointe and Saint James as our retirement destination. We currently live in a NYC suburb. My wife is Jewish and is concerned that she may be one of the only Jews at either community. Would that be the case?
Thanks for any replies.

I don't have any first hand knowledge, but I'm sure SJP has many Jewish residents.

Also, I have no firsthand knowledge, but there are two Jewish congregations in Wilmington, plus a Chabad group.

There certainly are Jewish folks here in St James but doesn't appear to be as many as say Long Island where we are from in terms of percentages. The nearest synagogue is in Wilmington, 35-40 min away, so that may explain why. Southport does have houses of worship for just about every other religion.

I’m not at all social, but I know there are Jewish people in St. James.
