Has anyone living near Highway 17 in Brunswick County tested the 5G phone connections that are supposed to be along the highway?

I am curious how long it will take to get the infrastructure into neighborhoods. Five years? Ten years? The net result is that I wonder if it is worth buying a new 5G compatible phone now.

Im getting around double the speeds i got on LTE on my zflip on 5G (tmobile) in mallory creek. i get faster speeds closer to 17 near waterford and up 74. I get about 40 outside my house(doesn't penetrate into my house well, i only get LTE inside) and the highest Ive gotten is a little over 100 near Windsor park.

Thank you. It sounds like you have to be close to the highways to take advantage if 5G speed.
