Default Fun things/places to do/visit in Wilmington/beach?

will spend a weekend(May 16-May18) in wilmington/beach with my girlfriend.

Would appreciate if you guys can suggest some fun things to do and fun places to visit.

Hotdogs at Trolley Stop, Wrightsville Beach. Walking around downtown Wilmington, the Riverfront. Dinner at Oceanic on the peir if the weather is nice.

quite a lot of things, are those recommendations ranked? i should probably start from top to see how many of those places I could go to.

No it not ranked just what was in top of my head the last 3 I have not done yet.
If the weather is not going to be pretty do the Aquarium and Battleship on those days or the last day there. I like to do things that does not involve me being in sand after I check out of a hotel.

Another fun thing to do is ride the Fort Fisher Ferry over to oak island
Get a gps unit it will make your trip alot easier and about every hotel has flyers of attractions to see in the area for more ideas.
