Smile Questions about Cape Carteret

Hello,

My husband and I have researching the Cape Carteret area and it sounds wonderful! I have some questions that I was hoping someone who lives in the area can answer for us.

We are not in a position to purchase a house and wondered if there are rentals in the area, houses or apartments? If so, do you know what the average rent would be for a 3 bedroom (just to get an idea). We have 3 children and want to find a place that has a "small town feel" with low crime but has area shopping within 30 minutes drive and great schools.

We lived in Lewisville, NC (near Winston-Salem) and just loved it! We are hoping to find something comparable but close to the beach. From what I read, Cape Carteret sounds like Lewisville. I just want to know if it's affordable!

If anyone can give us an idea of what the rents are like, we would greatly appreciate your response!

Thank you,

Caryn

That pretty much describes all of Carteret County-Just add "15 minutes from water" and it would describe anywhere in the county to a "T"!
