looking for private or magnet elementary school near sunset beach (Whiteville: magnet schools, moving)

help!!
we are moving from CT TO SUNSET BEACH NC IN AUGUST
MY SON WILL BE ENTERING 3RD GRADE and excels in school.
he's been reading profiiently since age 2 and is at the top of his class
he's eligible for advanced placemnt in ct but the local public school.jessie mae monroe does not have advanced placemnt until 4th grd.
he's my only and i'm getting an ulcer worrying!
he's capable of such great things and i don't want to cheat him!
we have to move there (we are going along with my aging parents)
any private or magnet schools i should know about?
it's so hard to make arangements and decisions from ct
any words of advice would be welcomed.

THIS SCHOOL IS NEXT DOOR TO WEST BRUNSWICK HIGH SCHOOL, OFF US 17 NEAR THE LOWES HARDWARE....YOU MAY ALSO CONTACT BRUNSWICK COUNTY SCHOOLS AND EXPLAIN YOUR SITUATION...THEY CAN MAKE EXCEPTIONS IF YOU'RE WILLING TO TRANSPORT...UNION ELEMENTARY MAY SUIT YOUR CHILD'S NEEDS.
