I am looking for advice on moving to the Wilmington/Hampsted areas of NC. My husband and I would like to move to an area that is more affordable and friendlier than Fairfield County, CT. I would like to know of any good recruiters/head hunters in the area as well. I have experience in accounting/finance/administrative/insurance. Any help is greatly appreciated!

There are multiple threads on Wilmington (even one other one about moving from CT) is you use the "Search forum" button.

You should define what you're looking for in more detail than simply "more affordable than CT". What amenities, school issues, etc do you want?

Here is the City-Data page on Wilmington, for starters. Or the Wikipedia page.

Thanks for your reply. I am not really concerned about the living situation because I am already doing research on that. I was more curious about recruiters or head hunters in the area so I can find a good job.
