Hey! I am new to this site & I am sorry if this is the second post reguarding the same thing! I am quite interested in moving to Oak Island- wanted to know the vibe of the area. I run a high quality in home preschool in the lower portion of my home and would plan to do the same in Oak Island. Is the area in need of quality child care? If not, any of the surrounding areas ( near the beach). I checked out some houses and found great deals- are these areas to avoid or just good deals? I have two children who will attend the public schools- how are they? Oak island seems relatively small- is it a famlily friendly, safe, good community? I would love any information reguarding the area.... thanks
