has anyone heard about Riversound, in New Bern. We are looking to purchase some property there and would like some info on it and the surrounding area.

Have not heard of Riversound, are you sure its not called Rivershore?

sorry about that it is Rivershore in New Bern, Riversound is in Edenton..

we have been looking at so many properties in NC. We are coming down for a visit and hoping to purchase some land.

Looking at its website, it looks like it is actually across the Neuse river from New Bern in an area known as Bridgeton. Look closely at its elevation. The river has been know to rise 3 to 5 feet above normal during nor'esters and tropical storms. You will probably have to get flood insurance but the view from there, especially during sunset would probably be worth it.

another one that we are looking at is Caraway Cove...

I know the websites show the best of the best of these places..

I just wanted to know if anyone knows anything about them, as we are traveling down next weekend.

thanks for your info, but the view wasn't all they advertised it to be, there was a bridge right across the river and that was what the land looked out over.


didn't end up getting that one...
