Relocating--Best areas/cities for jobs?? (to live, move to, health)

Hi all, i want to move to NC from Long island, new york. Im a financial anlyst for a large healthcare co. but am not limited to healthcare, just any medium to large company, and my fiance is an RN. We want to live near the coast but close to somewhere that we can work, what do you all suggest.

depends on how close to the coast you want to be. wilmington might have what you are looking for but the jobs here are few and far between. raleigh is good for jobs but you will be 2 hours from the coast.
