I have an old photo of the azalea parade with a float that reads Chaldburn Strawberry Festival. In the back ground is a building called The Fisk Grill. Wanting to know if this picture would have been taken in Wilmington NC during the Azalea festival.

I was walking my dog downtown on Christmas eve - maybe around 3:30 - thinking it would be kind of bustling, last minute shopping, people looking at the huge fake tree on the riverwalk, all that.

Dead.

Ghost town.

Some tourists asked me if the town was actually closed.
