I hope now one minds, but I'm bumping this older thread up. I too, am in need of information on this town. Relatively small, yes?

Can anyone tell me the distance from to the VA stateline from here?

How far is Como from Murfreesboro... what about Raleigh?

Sorry for "high-jacking" your thread, Jen, hope you don't mind. PM me if you do, and I'll delete my post.

Thanks everyone!

Default Murfreesboro, NCq

My best friend goes to Chowan and she likes it. It is a SMALL town and there's not much around, but Nags Head isn't too far, or the VA line. I'd say about 30 to 40 minutes.

I used to go visit her and it seemed too small to enjoy. The only thing keeping her their is the school.

Very small town population about 3500. There isn't much there in the way of good paying jobs but it is a historical town with a few older homes. There is no Walmart in Mboro (last I knew) and everyone drives to neighboring Ahoskie (20 mins) to shop. It does have a quaintness about it though that some find appealing. And although this thread is about neighboring Como you may want to read this thread to find more info as well.
