Congrats on your move! I hope you love Wilmington as much as I did. I lived there for over seven years in all parts of the city. I spent some time in various apartments in that area. It's a good area. New Hanover Regional (the regional hospital) is on 17th St right down the road, so there are a lot of medical professionals living in the area. It's set just a bit outside the city proper, but really convenient to get to anything - downtown, everything on College Rd, the mall, and Carolina Beach is minutes away. I can't advise about schools since we didn't have kids. Anyways, it's not much but hope the info helps
