Default Wilmington Area

I'm moving to the Wilmington area in about 2 weeks. I don't know what areas to be aware. Currently the areas looking at is around Shipyard Blvd where my job is and St.Andrews. Also schools in the area would be nice to. Any info would be greatly needed.

Thanks

Congrats on your move! I hope you love Wilmington as much as I did. I lived there for over seven years in all parts of the city. I spent some time in various apartments in that area. It's a good area. New Hanover Regional (the regional hospital) is on 17th St right down the road, so there are a lot of medical professionals living in the area. It's set just a bit outside the city proper, but really convenient to get to anything - downtown, everything on College Rd, the mall, and Carolina Beach is minutes away. I can't advise about schools since we didn't have kids. Anyways, it's not much but hope the info helps Good luck!
