My wife has talked me into driving to the beach for the day tomorrow. I guess the weather is going to be nice. We plan to drive over early tomorrow moring and return home tomorrow evening. We will not be staying overnight. The only problem is, other then relaxing in the sand for a few hours, I have no idea what else to do. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Wilmington is likely our destination. I think Myrtle is a bit far for just the afternoon.

You could go to the aquarium at Fort Fisher; it is very nice.

You could go out to a late lunch at the Oceanic in Wrightsville or Elijah's on the waterfront in Wilmington.

You could visit the USS North Carolina in Wilmington (I'd do that OR Fort Fisher, both is too much for one day).
