The family and I (total of 8 peope) are staying down in Wrightsville Beach over Thanksgiving weekend. Since we dont want to haul all of our cooking items down there to cook Turkey Day dinner, we've considered going out to a restaurant for the festivus.

Anyone know of a good restaurant in the area that is open for Thanksgiving and has a good spread available?

Check out Wilmington, NC Restaurants Menu and Dining Guide | Greater Cape Fear Region
They are supposed to have a listing of Thanksgiving offerings on their website sometime in early to mid-November (that's what it says in their printed guide, anyway).

It looks like the website that NCSC mentioned has a few listings for Thanksgiving in an article on the front page. Here is the link to the site: Wilmington, NC Restaurants Menu and Dining Guide | Greater Cape Fear Region

The Pilot House is always a good choice, but I've heard that the Blockade Runner has a nice spread as well. I guess it depends if you want an entree or buffet style.

A lot of the supermarkets around here will "cook" dinner for you. If you can't find a restaurant open, try calling the local supermarkets and order before you leave home. I think you'll find someplace, a lot of families go out to dinner on Thanksgiving.

I have heard on the radio that Bridge Tender will be serving Thanksgiving this year. Their food is excellent, IMO. And it's right there at Wrighsville Beach.
