I am looking for a pet-friendly home for myself and two daughters in the Cape Carteret area. Either looking to move soon or after this 08-09 school year is over.
Will be a single-mom, preferable somewhere nice, comfortable and inexpensive(dreaming).
I know the area pretty good, my Mother lives near the TOwn Hall so that area would be great!!!.
If anyone knows of anyplace or a place to start looking please help.
Thanks to all and have a wonderful day!!

You can start with the Carteret News-Times (http://www.carolinacoastonline.com/news-times_classifieds/for_rent/ - broken link).

Plus I would suggest calling the large area rental companies since most have long term rentals.

A good way to find a spot in a specific area is just driving the streets. There are a lot of private rentals in this market. I saw some in the specific area you mentioned, the last time I was over there.

Good luck. Cape Carteret is our home base. We love the area.
