Default Elizabeth City, North Carolina

I keep hearing good and bad about Elizabeth City. Is it unsafe? How much of the city is a bad part? Is it a bad place to live? It use to be one of the top 100 small towns in the US is it still conseder that? Houses their are nice and have a good price, which areas of the town are good to buy and which parts are dangerous? Can anyon help with this I need to know if this place is full of dangerous gang violence or is it a couple of streets with small town thugs?

Research Edenton, NC. Prettier, more rural. Short hop to E City shopping and services.
