It has been postponed. The property rights of way acquisitions for the first section are scheduled for 2018 with a construction start by 2020. The second and third section construction start dates have been postponed indefinately.

anyone know anything about tastyville? Is it a chain or a local place? The name could be better, but I'll give them a shot sooner or later.

Also - what is going in @ Arlington Village? I heard a well known Mexican place, but haven't heard any names.

Tastyville has to be a local place. The building is ugly as sin... they literally took down "Fuddruckers" and put up a sign in the same typeface that says "Tastyville." Chains protect the brand better than that.

Why would you make a stink now after what a good 5-10 years in?!

That seems strange...aren't all the other hospitals in the UHS of Eastern Carolina system pretty much named for the area they're located? Are the other hospitals changing their names too? (Bertie, Chowan, Albemarle, etc.)

Just this one as far as I know.

Stupid idea as far as I'm concerned... they say that too many people come from outside of Pitt County so it needs a better name. They fail to mention that all these people were probably transferred from the other hospitals and Pitt County is "the big city" (and they all know exactly where it is).

Ya know that university that made PCMH what it is today uses two descriptive terms to describe the geographic area it includes.
