Is there some sort of yogurt subsidy in this town? We have one bookstore and about 10 frozen yogurt places!
I was thinking the samething at one point. Greenville labels itself as a sport city & college town but it only has one book store (that I know of), and all these yogurt places aren't that healthy. So we're not really living up to our name in my opinion.

By the way has anybody else heard about the potential merger of the GREAT bus & ECU bus systems? Is it just a rumor at this point.

Speaking of ECU, the Strafford Arms Apartment Complex will be demolished by ECU to make way for more parking.
The Daily Reflector

One last thing, does anyone know what is being built on Evans Street by Best Buy? It's like directly behind the Ulta hair salon place.

I think it is more than a rumor. Last I heard (over the summer), ECU was waiting for the students to return. That is because ECUSTA is owned and operated by ECU students. I think UVA/Charlottesville did the same thing many years ago. So as long as we get better service at a lower cost, with no ghettoness, it will be a good thing.

Maaan, I hope East Carolina Medical Center (or something similar) name will come to fruition.

I've been anxiously awaiting WalMart's construction in Eastern Pines/33 area for years. Sure glad I wasn't holding my breath.

I should be thankful for all the money I've saved, since I only visit the G'ville Blvd WalMart once a year.

I've also been wondering what is taking so long for the Walmart to get started. Most of the houses they are planning to remove are still occupied. What gives with that? I thought they would have been vacated by now.

As mentioned in the Daily Reflector a few months ago, the development's entrances had to be redesigned to meet NCDOT requirements.

Signs have been placed on the site advertising the development.
