^I've only eaten at Finelli's once (November 2011) and it felt really overrated. The atmosphere was nice, but the food quality wasn't as great it could have been. And hopefully I be able to get a job at Dicks; it seems like no retailers are hiring here. I thought Lowe's would've been hiring but they have no-open positions.

I was bored last night so I decided to make a floor plan that I would like for Greenville Mall, I pretty much only demolished the Old Steve and Berry's and replaced it with what I thought would be more of a draw to the mall. (sorry for it being small; you can zoom in PC's by holding "CTRL" and pressing "+" into you can read the text.

I zoomed in on the images for you.

Didn't someone post how the contract is almost done with the Greenville Mall? We REALLY need local management/owners, not some unnamed company who only cares about a steady paycheck.

The Marriot Extended Stay Hotel construction has begun beside Microtel & Jimmy Johns. There was a beehive of activity going on today with bulldozers, backhoes, surveyors, & dump trucks. Construction is booming in the hospital area with the Children's Hospital, Veteran's Super Clinic, the large gated apartment complex at the end of Arlington Blvd., the still unfinished Dental School, the Marriot & the new CVS on Memorial Dr. The new Dick's Sporting Goods behind Kohl's is moving along. The walls are coming up really fast.

What an awesome mall floor plan! That would certainly be ideal...now only if we can get that started. Why don't you propose it to someone?

A new mall would be built before any of this would be considered.

I thought BrodyCo bought the mall some time ago? Did they already sell it?

I'm not aware of BrodyCo ever owning that mall. At least not since we got to Greenville in 2005.

I didn't know it started out as a strip center and was later enclosed. I've thought for a while they should turn it "inside out", making it an outdoor mall like Friendly Center in Greensboro.

I thought either BrodyCo bought it or that Hyman Brody was of a group of local investors that bought it from Colonial Properties. I guess not. Maybe it was planned but didn't go through.
