I've been to Mellow Mushroom before. Their atmosphere is pretty cool, but the food is nothing special. The pizza is definitely better than most delivery places, but I think you can find better pizza elsewhere.

Their crust and beer selection are pretty good, but it's not the kind of place you go to if you're on a tight schedule. Not bad for a chain.

Update on the Pediatric Emergency Department.

Originally it was to open April 30. But the hospital had the Joint Commission here all this week. So it will open on a limited basis, 9:00am - 1:00am on Monday, May 7.

It will open "full time" 24 hours on June 14.

Yeah my mother was telling me that the joint commission was there for inspections, I wonder how everything turned out. So the pediatric emergency dept. will be in the new children's hospital building, correct?

Negative. The Pediatric ED is right beside the current ED. If anyone is familiar with the hospital, its where the old Heart Center is. I actually walked around as well. It is very nice.

Yeah. I'm amazed at how quickly they cleared it out.
And check out the updated map.
