Greenville Mall was recently bought by Rouse Properties. Dunhams Sports will open in the Fall. Rouse has a history of renovating and expanding their malls...... Hopefully we will get one since our mall is not as nice as it should be.

Gordon of Gordon's Golf is in process of spending right under 1/2 a million to rebuild his shop.

ECU is moving along on the Third phase of the North Recreation Complex. That includes new:

4 new regulation sized softball fields with a shared central field house
1 smaller club softball field
6-8 multipurpose intramural fields
~3 batting cages
2 lighted tennis courts
1 5K trail
Maybe a small outdoor amphitheater
More lighting for the complex's existing lakeside beach and existing shelters

Contacted Rouse Properties on remodeling the mall they said they are going to upgrade but are still in the planning stages. Also, has anyone heard anything about Carabba's.

Not a word---we were at Outback the other night (their sister restaurant) & a Manager told us they are keeping everything hush-hush. She said no one is saying anything about it, even the location. The same with Costco (going where the old HD was). I cannot find out a thing about it.

I honestly still don't see Costco moving into the Greenville market nor PF Changs but then again we all have this argument every 50 pages or so. Haha

Wilmington got one... I wouldn't be surprised if we got one because we are almost as big as Wilmington and we are growing faster. PF Changs is expanding into smaller markets will a little bit smaller restaurants.

Wilmington also hosts a beach crowd as well, PF Changs doesn't seem likely in the Greenville market if you ask me but nonetheless anything is possible. You're absolutely correct in regards to PF Changs opening in smaller-markets now, but I haven't see any in a market the size of Greenville's just yet.

If you were speaking on Costco then I believe it's definitely out Greenville's league for the time being especially with Greenville having a Sams Club already.

I think Greenville would do just fine with a Pei Wei, which is owned P.F. Chang's.
