Having a hard time trying to post pic but a second Whic Wich Sandwich shop will be locating in the Food Lion Shopping Center on the back side on Arlington Blvd. The now hiring sign is up.

Looks like 1st Street is FINALLY being repaved! It was half complete when I went by earlier today.

Would that be the Food Lion near the hospital or is it the one near Bells Fork? The former Local Yogurt store at the Food Lion near Vidant would be a good location for it.

Yes, Unity FWB Church owns land parcel #62389. The address is 2508 Bells Fork Rd so it isn't directly on Hwy 43 but you might be able to see the construction from 43. That might be what you are talking about but I am very interested in what it is as well. I haven't been by there in a while.

Not exactly Greenville related, but in case anyone cares, the JC Penney in the Kinston "mall" will be closing.

Former Elbow Room and Rumors Nightclub walls


Cinder blocks will be removed and windows will be added. I believe this is the former Rumors Building.

To expand on this, but hopefully the last word, J.C. Penney plans to close 33 stores across the U.S., cut 2,000 jobs.
