Not to go toooo off-topic, but the first hospital in Greenville was built downtown on 5th Street.

Could you IMAGINE how much different Greenville/ECU/Downtown would look if they never moved?!

A new grocery store called "Save A Lot" is being built on the vacant lot east of Mack's Furniture Warehouse on Dickinson. Where there used to be a tobacco plant that got torn down years ago.

After I saw the signs up yesterday I pulled one of their circulars up and went through some prices with my wife. She knows what's a good deal and isn't. Most (all) of their prices were the same as Food Lion.

"Save A Little" I guess. The shopping experience can't be any worse than FL.

It would be amazing...but there would have been a huge traffic issue!

Last known as The City Market, which closed more than a year ago. There's been renovation on that building ever since. Hopefully they're close to presenting a new tenant.
