Has there been a ground breaking for the new Student Center on 10th St? Also, whats the progress on the new apartment complex that will be across the street from it?

^ No groundbreaking yet & I haven't heard anything new about the new complex across the street. The gas station is still there & so are the other apartments. I imagine they will have to wait until the frat is relocated & then they can tear that down & I guess the rest of the properties?

As for the mattress store next to Chipotle, I saw this online (an article from Houston, TX about why there are so many freakin mattress stores.)

That makes sense. It's just unfortunate that much of our retail spaces become billboards. Personally I'm not a fan of any of their mattresses and have found ordering my online to be a great experience, plus you don't have to pay for the increased cost of marketing that comes with the brands you see in theses stores. Since essentially all mattresses have the same money back guarantee and some even will pay return shipping. I guess the only way we'll improve this problem is by not buying the mattresses they carry, which is sadly not likely to happen.
