I really like this pocket park. Very cool use of such a small space!

Speaking of the logo

I saw this on a billboard between Columbia and Florence recently. The branding agency has gotten lazy.

I have heard that Joanns and Hancock are going to close. Not surprised with Hancock since its in the soon to be new shopping strip, but wasn't expecting Joanns....though I never see anyone there so prob shouldn't be surprised.

New craft beer and wine shop opens in Greenville

Quote:
The craft beverage industry continues to grow in eastern North Carolina with the opening of a new business that offers a unique service to customers.

Firefly wine shop opened Friday on Evans Street in Greenville. Owner Brenda Drake says she's offering craft beer and wine selections from Europe, Africa, the U.S. and many places in between.

Prices range from $10 to $70 dollars and you can also make your own six pack.

"We've got somebody here to help you, help you find what you like, if you like something and you want to try something new, if you're having a dinner party and don't know what to pair it with, come ask me," Drake explained. "I would love to help."

Firefly is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

^ it was, I didn't know the University was going to tear that down. It will certainly look a lot better. I'm assuming this has something to do with the future of that area being the Millennial Campus.
