They could easily lease out the bottom floor of a mix-use development on that property. Making bank and still keeping the location.

That is a prime location, certainly a huge spot that could be redeveloped. I hope this happens.

Like others have said, that is a small building for such a large prime piece of land.

While I was driving today I noticed significant progress on one development. I would have taken a photo if I could have. As part of the Southwest Bypass project, a newly erected overpass stands over the bypass as part of the rerouted end of Davenport Farm Rd as it approaches 264-A. Davenport will line up with Bell Arthur Rd as part of this project.

I noticed that Google Maps has removed I-587 from US-264. I guess NCDOT wasn't fond of Google jumping the gun.

(On a similar note, Google has labeled I-87 on US-64 between Raleigh and Rocky Mount and I-42 on the Goldsboro Bypass.)
