So I post a bunch of information that you probably haven't heard about, and you write a post on me misspelling one word, kinda.

Way to be petty.

I applaud the work you put in MrBojangles . I'm sure we all do.
(sn: your name just made me crave Bojangles haha).

I went in the hospital today and saw another rendering for the childrens hospital. It is quite nice I must say.

I've heard from a quite reliable source that we should hear about a fair size development soon. That's all he told me, no location or type of development.

Also I think if The Fresh Market moved into the current Lowe's Foods building, Fresh Market would see more customers. They're current location is better for a retail store in my opinion. The only problem is, I have to think of a store that could feel the existing space. It would very nice if they would put something like a Dave & Busters, in there but Greenville can't support one.

The Fresh Market has been discussed here before. I think there was specualtion that the developers were supposed to build a large shopping center or mall behind the Fresh Market in that field where the sign says they're going to build one. It was supposedly a part of the lease arrangment. Companies like Fresh Market don't normally sign short term leases like 3 years. Normally they're 20 years and longer. If they do close or move then there was something that made them or the developers break the lease.

I believe that one poster on here actually asked the manager of the Fresh Market, and his response was that they were not closing. However, that doesn't mean that the Fresh Market isn't trying to renegotiate their lease or trying to get out of their lease.

As someone who goes to Fresh Market often, they seem to be doing a decent business (it seems to have improved somewhat over the past year).

iTeach opened downtown reciently....http://iteachgreenville.com/.

412 Evans Street...hope this place will make it & more businesses like this start to go downtown. It would be nice if the rent was discounted down there to try & get things going.

I went to Lowe's foods today and noticed a remodel going on (at least that's what it appeared to be). Some merchandise was packed up, the walls we're being stripped in some parts of the store, and the book section beside the store exit was taken down.

Is it just being remodeled?

Randomly came across this info. Carolina East Centre (off Memorial where the DMV is) is really trying to redevelop. I'm really not familiar with commercial real estate, but everything I'm reading makes me think they plan to kick out all of the current tenants? Take a look at this http://www.loopnet.com/Attachments/9...7A0439DDB8.pdf
