Does anyone have any idea what is being built at the corner of Arlington and Firetower? That is a prime lot that has sat vacant for many years. Hopefully it will be more than a mattress or drug store.

Someone paid $Texas for that spot! I’m sure I’ll be disappointed and I’ll be another small strip shop like beside it.

According to OPIS, Tands (the Bojangles franchisee) owns that corner along with the restaurant. Both properties are under different names but registered to Tands’ PO Box in Kinston.

I maintain that in Greenville, a Bojangles could succeed literally beside another Bojangles

They could be building a new one to replace the old one. Just a thought...

Figured I'd be disappointed. I hate a damn little strip mall. Blaa. Most likely there will be a tax office, a subway, possibly a mattress store or auto parts store.

City begins process for Mirra-inspired action park

Curious to see if their proposed sites matches with the prior developments here. Given the official's comments about north-south connectivity, I have to think they're considering the warehouses north of the river. They've been eyeing being able to make a clean connection from N. Greene to River Park North without resorting to Mumford Road and this might be their way to do it.
