But they're mostly needed projects, from neglect in the previous years. Allen Road still needs to get extended from MacGregor Downs to 5th St

The other shoe drops for Wells Fargo.

Interesting that Bank of America did not even submit a bid.

Glad to see BB&T get this one. They're a great bank - local and in my personal experience, have always been very attuned to their customers. I switched from Bank of America (then NationsBank) probably 20 years ago and they've had a lock on my business.

Fencing is up along the entire two block area from Charles Blvd to 13th St to 14 St to Cotanche St. Looks like they are preparing for demolition. Looks to be over 25 structures to be demolished.

Apparently the new "Mattress Firm" or "frozen yogurt". I'd be surprised if they're all here after three years. If they do that would be almost sad given what it would say about the overall food choices that this city prioritizes.

Bill’s will survive because of the existing reputation. I was at a conference recently and talking to someone from the mountains and I said something about Little Washington. She blurted out “Bill’s Hot Dogs!”

It has a big following.

Yeah - Bill's & Warren's both have a following of people who love those things, they'll be fine. Sup Dogs has the college crowd and is right next to campus so it'll be around a long time as well. The new Dog House place is the one I'd venture to say will be shut down in a few years. I hope I'm wrong because their food is actually good, but most people have no clue it's there when i say something about it.
