My husband uses the dry cleaners there and they told him that the Shoe Crate is building that and moving into there. The Shoe Crate is currently beside there in the back of the strip where Dolce Vita is. Good for them if it's true. It's a small, local owned business.

I drove past the Carolina Ale House Sunday and it was packed.. People were filling up the outdoor eating area on the upstairs balcony.

Did anyone eat there this weekend? What's the menu and food like? I'm waiting to hear reviews, menu and pricing before I go.

I have not eaten at ours but I regularly eat at Carolina Ale Houses across the rest of the state and the quality is consistent, so I'd imagine ours is pretty good. I'm waiting for the crowd to die down a bit (if it does) before I go.

Here's the menu

I've only eaten at the Wake Forest location. It was good, not all that special, in my opinion. But it's always good to have more choices.

The name change is off temporarily. There is already a UHS hospital chain that is exerting their trademark rights.

I haven't been there yet, but it was nice to pick up the Daily Reflector today, turn to the Hot Dish column and NOT see that a new frozen yogurt place had opened in Greenville.

Is there some sort of yogurt subsidy in this town? We have one bookstore and about 10 frozen yogurt places!
