So is the new ground being broken by Ruby Tuesdays the Carrabas that has been rumored?

But to help pay for it, ECU will add between $200-$400 in fees to every student's tuition bill once the facilities open.

So does the cultural center move into Mendenhall when the new student center is completed? ECU had planned a new cultural center to be built in between Mendenhall and the library, but cancelled that when they realized their planned new cultural center was too small from their original projections. Mendenhall is certainly big enough.

Pertaining to the local regional airports discussion:

Kinston, New Bern Airports On FAA List For Possible Air Traffic Control Tower Closures

I'm assuming this will happen only if the federal government does not meet the upcoming budget deadline and automatic cuts take effect; the story isn't clear on the permanence of the situation.

PF Changs recently said in the reflector that they were scouting location in Greenville, hopefully construction will start with the year. Carabbas is looking at locations near Bonefish and maybe already under construction between first flight and ruby Tuesdays. Trader Joeshas recently said they are looking at locations at the old circuit city old Home Depot and the new Walmart areas. Target will either expand its current location or open up a new super target to compete with Walmart.

To be quite frank, I don't know why Kinston has an FAA controller in their tower. Greenville easily has more traffic but they don't have an FAA controller.

The plans I saw included 5,000sqft for the LWCC in the new student center.

Greenville has over 10x the traffic (based on passenger boardings), but doesn't need an ATC either.
I can't find an official number about the number of total flights for each airport, though.

Seriously... Where do these rumors come from. PF Changs, Trader Joes, expanding Target- yet the market can't support Home Depot or O'Charleys and they close their doors. It wasn't long ago when someone was talking about The Cheesecake Factory possibly coming to town. Online forums are great!
