glad to see the Skyy Bar going down. What a mess. I've been pleasantly pleased with the new Chief thus far. A million times better than what we had...bless Ashevlle or wherever he went.
[quoteIt is going to be interesting to see what it's going to be. Manager at Ruby Tuesday said she heard it's going to be some type of mattress store. I hope that is not true.[/quote]
All Greenville needs another matteras store like we need another yogurt shop. Really - how many does one town need...do they sell that many mattresses?
Sounds like the 300M "Quad East" interstate loop is gaining steam. I don't expect anything in the next 20 years though. Especially given how long it took other larger metro area to get loops.

I suspect that when it's done and over that Kinston is not going to get anything resembling an Interstate. Their population is declining and there aren't that many people there to begin with.
With the rate of development in Greenville, the population is going over 100,000 in the next few years and they can justify an Interstate.

Even though the GTP is a huge failure, that airport is important. Greenville being linked to it by an interstate, would be huge.
