I noticed McDonald's own the plot of land beside the Speedway on Allen Rd. I suppose they're just sitting on it until the area develops more, with either the intent to lease it to the local franchisee or to another business.

Folks, there is no chance New Bern shutters its doors in favor of a central, shared airport. EWN blows PGV out of the water and it's not even close.

PGV needs to work with budget carriers on East Coast flights. DC, Atlanta, NYC, etc. Northerners that want a cheap flight to OBX without the hassle of Norfolk.

Viral 'Limebike' videos drawing concerns for some ECU students

This is why we can't have nice things.

It’s the bicycle equivalent of a rental car. Drive it like you stole it.

LOL - if this is it, this isn't even half as bad as Raleigh has had it. Or Dallas. Did you see the bike literally cut in half in Dallas?

Watching the videos, the bikes are okay. Having ridden a Limebike (and given full corporate license to 'try and destroy it'), the bikes are okay. Stupid kids gonna be stupid kids.

Wow. I'm a fatty and I don't like bikes but I don't think cutting one up and bolting it to a light pole would ever come to my mind.

Or using it to jump people. Or fire. Or any of this really.

How exactly do they get one of these and do this stuff without being held responsible for the cost? Don't you have to use a CC or Apple Pay or something to rent?

This is my ideas, I think there should be some parking decks, office buildings, even taller buildings to make Greenville more urban and its large university.
