Default New Bern National Cemetery -- Memorial Day 2009

Here are some pics of the National Cemetery at New Bern. Took the corgis out of a walk early this morning. They are having a ceremony at 11:00 or so, but we were out ahead of that. Still there were 20 - 30 cars with folks walking around.

Hope some of you will take the opportunity to do so as well. Pretty cool and thanks for all that helped make the cemetery look so nice this morning!

lived here forever is on a distinguished road
Thank you so much for those pictures. My grandparents are buried in the National Cemetary in Wilmington. I live in Ohio, and our scouts place the flags on the graves at our VA cemetary. As I was taking my grandkids around Saturday placing flags, I was wondering if someone was doing that for my grandpa. I am so glad to see now that they were.
