Default Want to move to downtown Wilmington

I have vacationed in Wilmington a couple times and have fallen in love with it, and I want to move to the downtown area. My husband's a software developer and I'm a massage therapist and also hold a pharmacy technician license. We are looking for a one bedroom apartment and obviously jobs. Are we entertaining a total pipe dream, or can we actually find employment in Wilmington?

it's possible to find work in the area, but make sure you find employment before moving down. also, think the move through. living in wilmington is much different than visiting.
